Z day.
On Z Day, people with last names beginning with the letter Z get to go first in line.
I think it's sort of ironically appropriate that the first day of the year would be Z day.
Z day is also the day when the Earth will be attacked by zombies...so keep an eye out.
Apple Gifting Day
Pretty self explanitory. Give an apple. You don't even have to have a teacher in mind. Give it to your mother, your best friend, your neighbor, your..."roommate", red delicious, gala, fuji, even a grapple if the fancy strikes you. Reach out and touch someone...with fruit.

I loved those days in school when the lunch line went backwards and us "double-yous" led the way to the cafetorium with pride. Too bad those days only came perhaps thrice a year.
